Description

The Antonio Marco’s Museum in Guadalest offers, to all those who like the work made by the hands, an incomparable work, divided into two floors.

On the first floor of this museum in Guadalest you will be surprised by the models of 70cm height houses and churches constructed with stones, bricks, cement, wood and cooked clay tiles. The houses with their doors, windows, kitchen and bedrooms, bathrooms and corridors are fully furnished. You can even see the lit lamps, family paintings and all the typical household items.

On the second floor there is a large Nativity, reminiscent of an ancient city. It weighs 12 tons and, after many years of work and daily maintenance needed, you will be amazed by its many small details. From steaming chimneys, springs and rivers through which the crystal water flows to an endless number of moving figures, representing the most varied works (bakers, smiths....).
This museum in Guadalest has been recognized for the tenacity and effort, as well as for the Antonio Marco’s dedication during all these years. Therefore, it should be mentioned the award he received from the Association of Tourist Guides in Alicante, as well as the Costa Blanca Tourism Prize, among others.
